Welcome! I am Manos and I am a PhD researcher in STADIUS - ESAT at KU Leuven, in Belgium. Along with my supervisor Prof. Aritra Konar, we are interested in topics related to Graph Machine Learning and Algorithmic Fairness.

Currently, our goal is to explore algorithmic fairness in the densest subgraph problem.

Before joining KU Leuven, I was a member of the Signal Processing Laboratory of Institue of Computer Science - FORTH, as a research assistant. There, advised by Prof. Grigorios Tsagkatakis, Prof. Anastasios Kyrillidis and Prof. Panagiotis Tsakalides, we designed and studied a system that leverages sparsity across input and intermediate layers of a neural network that gets trained and operates in a distributed manner by resource-constrained workers.

Before that, I earned my BSc and integrated MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Technical University of Crete (TUC). There, I had the opportunity to work with Prof. Aggelos Bletsas, focusing on efficient probabilistic asynchronous wireless in-network inference.
